Born in a house on Emmaus Road in Zion, Illinois, to Thomas and Effie Lindsay.

1925

Converted to Christ and call to ministry under Charles Parham’s ministry in a revival meeting at John G. Lake’s church in Portland, Oregon.

1927-37

Held more than 150 evangelistic campaigns by the age of 31.

1937

Pastored an Assemblies of God church he started in San Fernando, California.

1939

Started a new church in Billings, Montana.

1941

Published second book, Bible Days Are Here Again.

1947

Invited by William Branham to attend one of William Branham’s meetings and began organizing Branham’s campaigns.

1952

Took his first trip to Israel.

1959

Launched the World Correspondence Course based on the books he had authored.

1961

Launched the Native Church Program.

1970

Started the Christ For The Nations Institute with 50 students.

An article Gordon wrote about Astronomy was published in the Beaverton High School annual.

1927

Held his first evangelistic meeting with two friends, Thomas Welch and Leon Hall.

Married Freda Schimpf in Portland, Oregon.

Published his first book, The Blueprints of God, Volume 1 – Wonders of Bible Chronology.

Accepted the call to pastor Assemblies of God church in Ashland, Oregon.

1948

Launched the Voice of Healing monthly magazine, which grew into the Voice of Healing organization.

Started the Lindsay Printing Company

1965

Launched the Native Literature program.

1973

Gordon went to be with the Lord during a Sunday service in the newly constructed Institute building.
