FOUNDERS WORK-STUDY SCHOLARSHIP

WHAT IS THE FOUNDERS WORK-STUDY SCHOLARSHIP?

This scholarship was designed with our Founders, Gordan and Freda Lindsay in mind. Their desire was to create an opportunity for internationals to be able to complete their studies at Christ For The Nations Institute, then with the wisdom and knowledge obtained at CFNI, the student would return home and impact their nation. The number of scholarships awarded is limited based on the scholarship funds available, therefore applying for a scholarship does not guarantee you will be awarded a scholarship.

Students who receive a work-study scholarship must work in an on-campus placement while studying to cover the cost of their education.

Frequently Asked Questions

The Scholarship applications are reviewed and prayerfully considered by a scholarship committee that looks for applicants who are driven, of honorable character, potential assets to CFNI, and who have a great financial need. The number of scholarships awarded is limited based on the scholarship funds available, therefore applying for a scholarship does not guarantee you will be awarded a scholarship.

As the scholarship department works with a high volume of applicants, the process is quite lengthy. There are multiple phases and each of them require your patience and diligence to turn in required documents by the given deadline. If not, it could result in termination of your application.

After completing the entire scholarship process, being accepted to the school and if awared a scholarship, the applicant will be given the I20 and embassy letters to request a Visa appointment. Please refer to the I20 & Visa Process link above.

Unfortunately, the work study scholarship program is reserved for those who are applying from their home country. On-campus students are not eligible to apply for the scholarship.

If you are granted a scholarship, it will last one year. If you are able to come up with the funds or have a sponsor for a second year, you can continue as a self-pay student.

Unfortunately, if you were previously a scholarship student, you are not eligible to reapply. There are limited funds available and we would like to give other people the same opportunity that you had to be granted a scholarship.

We do not offer scholarships for the Online School; however, our Online classes are available to you at an affordable cost. Please communicate with your advisor if you decide to go to our Online School. To learn more about CFNI Online, click HERE.

PLEASE NOTE: APPLYING FOR A SCHOLARSHIP DOES NOT ENSURE THAT YOU WILL BE AWARDED. THERE IS A HIGH VOLUME OF APPLICANTS EACH SEMESTER AND VERY FEW ARE SELECTED.
