Description:
God is looking for a generation who knows Him and walks His ways. In Kids Ministry, you will be trained, equipped, and empowered to effectively minister to children. Students choose to serve in one of our 5 different age level classes, from preschool to preteens, and enjoy experiencing all aspects of the wonderful world of ministry to children.
Weekly Commitment:
Wednesdays at 8 & Tuesdays 6 pm to 10 pm.
General Consideration:
Required attendance and participation each Tuesday evening to minister to the children.

ENGLISH TUTORS / LIBRARY ASSISTANTS

Description:
As an English Tutor, you will be supporting and interacting with international students as well as helping them learn English through conversational activities and games during Remedial English Classes. Tutors assist Remedial English instructors and international students in fulfilling these goals. You will also have the opportunity to work directly with International students in the Library to help them understand the English language and adjust to local culture and customs. As a Library Assistant, you will be supporting the library staff in the operation of the Library. You will help serve our students/patrons to make this place a desirable and peaceful place to read, study, or do research.
Weekly Commitment:
Wednesday’s class is at 8 am
1-2 hours of tutoring or helping in the library.
General Consideration:
Each tutor is required to assist in Remedial English classes every Monday 6:00pm – 9:00pm Library Assistants are required to assist in the library according to the scheduled commitment.

IMAGO DEI – (VISUAL & PERFORMING ARTS)

Description:
The Imago Dei Showcase is a gathering where creatives come together to glorify God through their unique gifts and talents. This event takes place each semester, with dedicated time for preparation and planning beforehand, followed by groundwork for the next semester. During the fall and spring semesters, you’ll apply and develop your skills in areas like Event Management, Media Production, Discipleship, Creative Design, Hospitality, Social Media Marketing, Fundraising, Logistics, Volunteer Management, and Prayer Ministry. Once in the Imago Dei STM, you will be placed on one or more of our teams to use your existing abilities to make an impact.
Weekly Commitment:
Every Wednesday at 7:30 am, with additional weekly team meetings based on your assigned team and participation in 8 weekly prayer meetings.
General Consideration:
Students are expected to contribute their talents and skills through events, activities, and prayer times leading up to and following the Imago Dei Showcase, completing 60 student ministry hours each semester. This ministry fosters a space for growth and service, encouraging students to refine and use their gifts
Travel Required:
Travel is required for certain teams only, and carpooling may be available as needed. Specific details will be shared based on team assignments.

KIDS FOR THE NATIONS

Description:
Spring semester is full of wonderful training, equipping, preparing, and praying for Kids for the Nations Summer Camps. Students have the opportunity to participate in KFN Outreaches, develop new elements of camp, create decor, build activities, and, more and more!
Weekly Commitment:
Every Wednesday at 7:30am and weekly prayer time from 12:15-1:00 pm on Mondays.
General Consideration:
Students will be expected to participate in ministry times/events/activities for KFN in order to fulfill 45 additional hours throughout the semester
Travel Required:
Yes, travel off campus might be part of KFN Outreach ministries. Transportation will be provided by school vans & students’ vehicles

PRAYER & INTERCESSION

The Families Resident Assistant (RA) program serves as an essential ministry within the Deans Department, with a focus on helping students adjust spiritually and socially to the unique environment of Bible school. This Student Ministry underscores the vision of fostering unity, support, and spiritual growth within the CFNI Families Department. RAs play a pivotal role in bridging communication between leadership and students, organizing events, and offering direct assistance to families.
Weekly Commitment:
Regular meetings every Wednesday at 8 a.m. Once-a-month special events and weekly visits, usually scheduled for evenings.
General Consideration:
A genuine care for people, especially families, as they integrate into the CFNI community.

The Student Council is a team of trusted, servant-hearted students chosen for their strong character and leadership qualities. These students represent CFNI with excellence, serving as ambassadors to guest speakers and visiting Christian organizations. Their roles include hosting guests in the greenroom and being entrusted with responsibilities like gathering offerings during services and altar ministry. Student Council also takes initiative in advancing CFNI with fundraising events and campus improvement projects.

Wednesdays at 7:45 am. Daily & weekly lecture sessions and some on-campus events.
General Consideration:
Some required participation include Guest Speaker Hosting, Weekly Prayer, and Campus Activities.

WORSHIP & ARTS ENSEMBLE

Description:
This Student Ministry is for those who have a skillset and a heart for worship and desire to be serving in that capacity in the various forms of worship ministry that take place here on campus. Along with the practical side, our weekly meetings will equip the students to pursue the heart of God, be excellent in the practicalities of ministry, and flow in worship by learning sensitivity to the Holy Spirit.

Every Wednesday at 8:00 am.
General Consideration:
Hours will be obtained by attending weekly Wednesday meetings and serving hands-on in a worship team on campus—either chapel band, lecture band, the house of prayer, or others.

YOUTH FOR THE NATIONS

Description:
This ministry provides practical training in counseling, prayer, hospitality, videography, graphic design, social media marketing, t-shirt screen printing/merch sales, creating material for YFN resources, altar ministry, field games, and discipleship training, during the fall and spring semesters. Once in YFN you will be placed on one or more of our teams. (Office, Merch, Nations, Core, Hospitality, Registration, Dorms, Creative Design, Social Marketing, Videography, Deliverance Ministry and Worship).
Weekly Commitment:
Every Wednesday at 7:30 am and a minimum of 10 prayer meetings on Thursdays from 12:15-1:30 pm.
General Consideration:
The training during the semester is meant to prepare you for our conferences in both fall & spring semesters as well as for our 5 weeks of camp in the summer, where you will get hands-on experience exercising what you have been taught while at CFNI.

The Local Church ministry is designed for those students who are already involved in some sort of ministry assignment in a local church or ministry. HISPANIC MINISTRIES INTERNSHIP

Description:
This student ministry will educate and guide CFNI students who are looking to serve the Latin/Hispanic community. Exploring current challenges, strategies, and systems to aid them in servicing the local Latino/Hispanic community from a practical and biblical perspective. In partnership with local churches and CFNI events and activities, we will help the student grow and be equipped to serve the Hispanic Community. Students will have a group project mocking up the setup of a ministry that would serve the community. *this course is offered in Spanish
Weekly Commitment:
Every Wednesday at 8:00 am, a minimum of 10 prayer meetings on Thursday House of Prayer en Español 7:30 pm.
General Consideration:
Students will be expected to serve a certain number of hours outside of school time for on-campus events/tours and off-campus events.

To teach students to reach the lost through the empowerment of the Holy Spirit. Through classroom instruction and real-life experience, students will have opportunities to encounter those in need of a loving Savior and offer the life-changing Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Hours will be obtained by attending weekly Wednesday meetings and by participating in weekly outreaches either Monday, Thursday, and/or Saturday evenings.

Weekly outreach opportunities will be off campus 2-3 times a week around the Dallas area. Students will most likely be carpooling or depending on class size, transportation may be provided.

CREATIVE STUDENT MINISTRY

Description:
The goal of the Creative Student Ministry (CST) is to equip the student on a spiritual and practical level, from learning sensitivity to the Holy Spirit to expressing their creativity. This student ministry will require “hands-on” interactive training and practical ministry. The goal within the student ministry is for each member to eventually take ownership of a specific piece of the creative process. With the creativity, love for God, and passion for people that we have, the CST is the perfect outlet to make some of these ideas into a reality!
Weekly Commitment:
Every Wednesday at 8:00 am, each student will be required to serve our community a minimum of 10 times and also serve a minimum of 3 hours per week outside class hours.

WORLD MISSIONS STUDENT MINISTRY

Description:
World Missions Student Ministry is a practical course. Missionaries are often forgotten about and rarely receive routine Pastoral care. Students will learn about the importance of how to care for missionaries on the field! They will write and mail birthday cards for missionary children, have regular check-ins to pray over and encourage missionaries, and learn how to just listen.
Weekly Commitment:
Wednesdays at 8am. Missionary Contact and Prayer: 4 hours per week or 60 total.
General Consideration:
This ministry is about learning how to care for missionaries and their families in a practical and meaningful way.
