Description:
The Accounting Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for visitors and callers while providing administrative and clerical support to the Accounting Department. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a professional and courteous manner.
Qualifications:
Prior administrative or accounting support experience preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Strong communication and customer service skills
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment

Special Requirements:
Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
Duties and Responsibilities:
Greet and assist visitors in a friendly and professional manner; direct them to the appropriate staff or department
Answer and route incoming phone calls; take accurate messages when necessary
Monitor and track incoming requests (walk-ins, emails, phone inquiries) to ensure timely follow-up and resolution
Receive, sort, and distribute mail, packages, and internal documents
Scan, file, and maintain physical and electronic financial records in accordance with departmental procedures
Assist with data entry, invoice processing, and basic accounting support tasks as assigned
Maintain organized filing systems for accounting documentation and records retention
Support accounts payable and accounts receivable processes as needed
Coordinate with other departments to gather required documentation and information
Ensure confidentiality of financial and personnel information
Maintain front desk area and shared office spaces in a clean and orderly manner
Perform other administrative and clerical duties as assigned by the Accounting Supervisor
