Description:
The Housing Services Specialist provides front-desk support and day-to-day operational assistance for the Housing Department at Christ for the Nations. This role serves as the first point of contact for students, residents, and guests seeking information about housing, move-ins, policies, and general concerns. The Housing Services Specialist offers consistent customer service, supports Housing operations, organizes communication channels, and assists with administrative tasks to help maintain smooth, timely housing processes. This position requires professionalism, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.

Use Windows-based software, Microsoft Office, and learn various web-based applications.
Special Requirements:
Customer service experience
Bilingual in Spanish or Portuguese (preferred)
Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide friendly, helpful customer service through email, phone, and in-person interactions.
Serve as the first point of contact for students, residents, and guests who need housing assistance.
Respond to questions regarding housing, move-ins, policies, and general concerns
Direct individuals to the appropriate department when needed (Finance, Security, Deans, Academics, etc).
Manage Housing-related phone and email communications in a timely, professional manner.
Help calm, guide, and support residents during high-stress or emotionally charged situations.
Assist with daily operations and ongoing Housing projects.
Provide administrative support for both student and tenant housing processes.
Maintain an organized, up-to-date housing inbox, phone log, and communication records.
Distribute notices, reminders, and announcements to residents.
Support communication regarding emergency maintenance issues, building updates, or inspections.
Help prepare housing forms, simple reports, and documentation as needed.
Provide cross-coverage during peak seasons or staff absences.
Assist with tasks such as key distribution, AC setting updates (when assigned), and general front-desk coordination.
