The mission of the Music and Elective Opportunities Program at CFNI is to raise up musicians and singers who are both skilled and anointed, equipping them to minister with excellence and serve as worship leaders and influencers in their generation. Our goal is to provide the musical training, spiritual foundation, and practical tools needed for students to faithfully lead in the calling God has placed on their lives.
As a CFNI student, you will have the opportunity to participate in elective classes offered through the Music and Elective Opportunities Program. Please note that elective classes offered through this program are available for an additional fee and are not included in standard tuition.
Individuals who are not enrolled at CFNI may apply for classes in the Music Education Program; however, placement is not guaranteed, as priority is given to currently enrolled CFNI students. If you are not a current CFNI student and would like to apply for a class, click here.
Minors ages 7 and older are eligible to enroll in the Music Education Program. A parent or guardian may complete the application on their behalf here.
Students in the Worship Major must enroll in a Music Education private lesson or class and are responsible for any associated additional fees. Also, students who try out and make a worship band (Chapel, Lecture, or YFN) are required to enroll in a private lesson that corresponds to their band position (example: vocalists must take voice lessons, drummers must take drum lessons, etc.)
You can review the cost of Private or Group lessons on the Tuition and Fees page, here under the Elective Opportunities category.
No, the Music Education Program is only offered during the Fall and Spring semesters at Christ For The Nations Institute.
