Description:
The Admissions and Recruitment Director is responsible for developing and implementing strategies to attract and enroll a diverse student body at Christ For The Nations Institute. This role involves overseeing the admissions process and staff, managing recruitment activities, and fostering relationships with prospective students.
Qualifications:
At least 5 years of management experience
Experience managing a team of 15+ employees
Exceptional organizational and planning skills
Ability to manage departmental budgets
Proficient in Microsoft Office Professional Suite
Project management training or certification preferred
Demonstrated expertise in customer service and recruitment techniques
Excellent public speaking and presentation skills
Duties and Responsibilities:
STRATEGIC PLANNING AND LEADERSHIP:
Develop and execute comprehensive recruitment and admissions plans aligned with the Institute’s mission and enrollment goals
Collaborate with Human Resources to interview, onboard, and train admissions and recruitment team members to ensure continuity and effectiveness during staff transitions
Lead and mentor the admissions and recruitment teams, setting performance goals and providing professional development opportunities
Analyze admissions data to forecast trends and adjust strategies accordingly
Conduct regular one-on-one meetings with admissions advisors to review hot leads, identify obstacles, and provide coaching for effective conversion strategies
RECRUITMENT ACTIVITIES:
Provide oversight and support to the Recruitment Coordinator, and recruitment assistant/ scholarship student, ensuring successful planning, execution, and follow-up
Design and implement outreach programs, including campus visits, Campus Days, and other on-campus prospective student events
Cultivate relationships with high schools, churches, community organizations, and other entities to promote CFNI
Provide leadership and strategic oversight for Campus Days, ensuring the event aligns with institutional goals and vision
Manage and coordinate interdepartmental tasks related to Campus Days, fostering collaboration and clear communication across teams
Work closely with the Director of Marketing to utilize digital marketing, social media, and other communication platforms to reach potential students
Work with the Marketing Department to create promotional materials and prospective student presentations
ADMISSIONS PROCESS MANAGEMENT:
Oversee the application process, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience for prospective students
Set deadlines for reviewing applications
Works closely with Institute departments to ensure new students are supported through the orientation and onboarding process
COLLABORATION AND NETWORKING:
Provide regular reports to CFN leadership as needed with Recruitment and Admissions funnels, applicants, admitted students, visas approved, etc
Collaborate with the Academic Department, Student Services, and other Institute offices to support recruitment and retention efforts
Provide weekly reports of Admissions and Recruitment team goals at WIGS cross-division meetings
Represent CFNI at conferences, professional organizations, and networking events
Stay current with trends in admissions and recruitment, particularly within faith-based institutions
