Description:
The Admissions Advisor provides specialized support to prospective students throughout the admissions and registration process. This role serves as a primary point of contact for inquiries, offering accurate information regarding academic programs, enrollment requirements, application procedures, deadlines, and tuition. The Admissions Advisor guides applicants from initial interest through acceptance and registration, ensuring a smooth and positive enrollment experience.

Ability to effectively work with students of various ethnic and cultural backgrounds
Ability to communicate effectively in oral and written form
Skill in operating a computer and various supporting software packages
Extraordinary interpersonal skills; must be able to effectively communicate with a wide range of populations throughout the day, including traditional and nontraditional prospective students and their families
Demonstrated ability to manage a high volume of tasks simultaneously
Team-oriented approach, desire, and ability to work closely with peers.
Self-initiation and self-motivation for independent follow-through on projects.
High School Diploma.
The ability to interpret data and analyze problems, identify alternative solutions, project consequences of proposed actions and implement recommendations in support of goals
Special Requirements:
Previous admission experience is desirable.
Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
Duties and Responsibilities:
Follow a structured customer relationship management system to engage applicants through phone, email, text, and scheduled appointments
Provide comprehensive information and guidance to prospective students on academic programs and admissions criteria
Assist prospective students throughout the application process, ensuring completion of required documents for acceptance and registration
Maintain and update applicant information in the database to ensure accuracy and readiness for admissions review
Collaborate with the Review Committee to facilitate timely admission decisions for prospective students
Support recruitment initiatives, including organizing campus tours, advising sessions, and on-campus events to enhance visitor experience
Manage and execute assigned special projects to align with departmental objectives and achieve enrollment targets
Foster effective workflows to support both individual and departmental enrollment goals
Maintain proactive and clear communication with applicants to provide updates and address inquiries promptly
Contribute to Campus Days and facilitate the smooth transition for new students upon arrival
Lead engaging and informative campus tours for prospective students, showcasing facilities, student life, and campus culture
Track and report metrics, meeting weekly quotas for follow-up emails and calls to ensure timely applicant engagement
