Student Ministries Meet Weekly On Wednesday Morning

Children’s Ministry

Children’s Ministry equips students to impact the next generation with God’s love while growing in spiritual maturity, creativity, and leadership. Students serve in one of five age- level classes, from preschool through preteens, and are trained to teach, mentor, and nurture children. Weekly Tuesday evening sessions provide hands-on experience through Bible lessons, games, crafts, and small groups. Students develop patience, servant leadership, and a heart for investing in young lives, modeling Christlike character while helping shape the next generation for the Kingdom of God.

Remedial English Tutors

The Remedial English Tutor Ministry empowers students to serve learners of all ages while building cross-cultural relationships and sharing the love of Christ. Students proficient in English tutor individuals from diverse backgrounds, gaining exposure to new cultures and languages. Tutoring takes place Monday evenings, with ministry meetings on Wednesday mornings and flexible weekly support hours. Students grow in mentoring, conversation, and relational discipleship, developing empathy, Kingdom-minded service, and a heart for global impact through practical, relationship-based ministry.

Evangelism

Evangelism Ministry equips students to boldly and compassionately share the Gospel in everyday life. Students participate in weekly outreach throughout the Dallas–Fort Worth area, engaging communities, churches, and public spaces through group evangelism, street ministry, and spontaneous outreach. Training includes practical evangelism tools, communication strategies, and relational discipleship. Through consistent outreach, students grow in spiritual boldness, compassion, and a Kingdom-focused lifestyle, learning to represent Christ authentically and effectively to those who do not yet know Him.

Kids for the Nations (KFN)

Kids for the Nations prepares students to serve children locally and globally with a heart for outreach and camp ministry. Students engage in Holy Spirit-led prayer for KFN camps and children worldwide, serve in children’s ministry, mentor kids, and assist visiting leaders. They help develop camp programs, décor, and activities, and participate in church outreach, retreats, and fundraising events to give children access to camp experiences. Through hands-on service, students grow in leadership, creativity, and spiritual sensitivity while helping children encounter God.

Local Church Ministry

Local Church Ministry connects classroom learning with real-world ministry by allowing students to serve in their current church placements. Students participate in weekly discussions and online forums to process ministry challenges, share insights, and apply biblical principles in discipleship, leadership, and pastoral care. A required number of service hours helps students grow spiritually and practically, equipping them to represent Christ authentically while strengthening and impacting their local church communities with Kingdom influence.

Prayer and Intercession

Prayer and Intercession activates students to grow in intimacy with God and engage in Spirit-led intercession. Students gather daily in the Israel Prayer Room and lead nation- focused prayer teams before morning worship. Throughout the semester, students participate in All-Night Prayer and Worship and All Nations Prayer events. This ministry cultivates spiritual sensitivity, perseverance, and Kingdom-mindedness, teaching students that prayer carries eternal impact and equipping them to intercede faithfully for individuals, communities, and nations.

RA Leadership

RA Leadership develops students into spiritual and relational leaders who care for the CFNI community. RAs mentor students, organize events, provide guidance, and model disciplined Christian living through daily pastoral care and support. They return early and remain after each semester to serve as a bridge between leadership and students. Through counseling, event planning, and peer support, RAs grow in servant leadership, emotional intelligence, and practical ministry skills while nurturing spiritual growth across campus.

Student Council

Student Council equips students to lead with integrity, vision, and a servant’s heart. Members represent CFNI during campus events, external ministries, and special gatherings, assisting with logistics, offerings, prayer, and speaker support. Students develop leadership, teamwork, communication, and spiritual discernment while serving the community with excellence. This ministry fosters a Kingdom-minded approach to service, training students to represent Christ through adaptability, creativity, and faithful stewardship.

Live Production

Live Production equips students with hands-on experience in audio, video, and lighting while developing professionalism and teamwork. Students support chapels, lectures, TNE, and CFNI events alongside the Live Production team, managing sound, lighting, and video needs. Through this ministry, students grow in servant leadership, problem-solving, and attention to detail while glorifying God through excellence in technical and creative service.

World Missions

World Missions equips students to support missionaries and serve global communities through prayer, encouragement, and practical care. Students write letters, participate in missionary care projects, and engage in prayer and check-ins, committing four hours per week. Through these experiences, students develop cross-cultural sensitivity, empathy, and a heart for Kingdom service, learning to faithfully represent Christ while supporting those advancing the Gospel around the world.

Worship and Arts Ensemble

Worship and Arts Ensemble develops students’ hearts, skills, and spiritual sensitivity for worship ministry. Students participate in weekly meetings and serve across chapels, lectures, and the House of Prayer. Training emphasizes flowing with the Holy Spirit, leading others in authentic worship, and pursuing excellence in music and arts. Students grow in creativity, leadership, and spiritual depth while representing God through worship on campus and beyond.

Youth for the Nations (YFN)

Youth for the Nations is a movement that equips students to lead as they follow Christ through prayer, service, and surrender. Students serve on two ministry teams, gaining hands-on leadership and ministry experience. Commitments include 12 hours of prayer and 48 hours of service through weekly teams, events, and mentoring. YFN builds disciples, develops leaders, and transforms hearts as students learn to carry God’s presence into the next generation.

Latino Church Leadership

Latino Church Leadership equips students to serve and lead within Latino church communities. Students engage in prayer, team-building, outreach, mentorship, and occasional U.S. mission trips. Activities include Early Morning Prayer, Fiesta Latina events, and church ministry involvement. This ministry fosters spiritual growth, leadership development, and cross-cultural connection, empowering students to represent Christ with passion, joy, and Kingdom purpose.

Sports Student Ministry

Sports Ministry equips students to lead and disciple through athletics, integrating faith, teamwork, and character development. Students coach, organize events, and mentor participants, learning to model integrity and Christlike leadership on and off the field. This ministry uses sports as a platform for relational ministry, encouraging students to represent Christ authentically while positively influencing others through competition and teamwork.

Student Informer equips students to tell CFNI’s story through photography, video, and social media. Students create content, document events, and collaborate with the Marketing Department through weekly creative sessions and event coverage. This ministry develops technical skill, creativity, and storytelling while emphasizing Kingdom impact, teaching students to glorify God and communicate Christ-centered messages through media.
